Syntropy is an innovative project that uses smart-routing technology to increase internet connection speeds tenfold. All connections are encrypted by default, with no extra hardware required. The NOIA utility token, available on Nash, grants access to the network.
Syntropy’s goal is to enable an all-encrypted, performance-focused Internet accessible to millions of companies and people worldwide.
Any end-point, server, router or device can be instantly connected through a private encrypted network that automatically routes traffic along the lowest-latency one-way path globally and drops all but authenticated traffic.
This technology can speed up internet connections more than tenfold and significantly improve security, privacy and reliability. It operates on top of the public internet while having support from a globally dispersed network of data centers and community nodes.
Syntropy provides access to the network via a web-based platform. Use cases vary from enabling SaaS global scalability to large enterprises with private networks and spans multiple industries, such as telecom, 5G, IoT, SD-WAN and VPN.
Syntropy Network
The Syntropy Network is the infrastructure that provides the smart routing of internet traffic. Its proprietary Decentralized Autonomous Routing Protocol (DARP) offers a global understanding of the internet’s performance, with one-way latency measures between millions of potential paths. This knowledge is what allows the network to send traffic along optimal routes, overriding the public internet’s default paths.
DARP consists of hundreds of high-performance nodes on virtually every cloud network worldwide, as well as thousands of community nodes. Node runners receive NOIA token compensation in relation to how much traffic they relay through the network, incentivizing new nodes in high-demand areas where additional internet optimizations can take place.
Syntropy Platform
The Syntropy Platform is the first product built on the Syntropy Network. This self-service platform enables teams to create and manage secure connections between all their endpoints. This is the clearest first use case for Syntropy’s technology, as businesses already spend billions to create networks that route large amounts of traffic every second. By launching the Syntropy Platform first, the team hopes to build early demand for the network and token.
The platform is open to all, but anyone can build tools that integrate with the network through the NOIA token, paving the way for additional consumer-focused products.
Standard: ERC-20 token
Total supply: 1 billion NOIA
Users pay with USD or NOIA tokens to access the Syntropy Network. All payments directly translate into token demand via an exchange gateway. This makes Syntropy accessible to all users, traditional or crypto, while ensuring the token is an irreplaceable necessity for using the network.
Data transferred through the network is accounted for using smart contracts. This establishes a micro-transactional, trustless relationship between the user and the nodes servicing the network. The NOIA token model allows for widespread adoption and a seamless experience for all users, while also guaranteeing sufficient token velocity and consistent demand.
The Syntropy team is a mix of network engineering and internet peering specialists, with other members experienced in startups, sales, marketing and business development. The tech team consists of 30+ software engineers and data scientists who support software development and architectural updates across the software-defined networking (SDN) engine, platform and blockchain implementation.

Rather than issue a long-term roadmap at inception, the Syntropy team developed their tech internally for roughly two years. They released a condensed six-month roadmap in late September 2020, which will culminate in a full network and product launch.
The project has already reached the Network Pre-Launch phase, which established the initial backbone for the Syntropy Network. This pre-launch was the first deployment of its kind, connecting nearly every major internet network, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud and dozens more.
